I am from Puerto Rico, and I’m really passionate about empowering students, especially from hispanic/latino background to discover and pursue careers in STEM. Additionally, creating a sense of family and community within Georgia Tech graduate community was another mission I wished to accomplish. LOGRAS represented an excellent opportunity to positively impact both areas within and outside campus.

¡Hola! I’m a second year PhD student from Puerto Rico passionate about mentorship, and as a member of the outreach committee last year, I was able to serve as a mentor and teacher through presentations and workshops. This year, as chair of the external outreach committee, I look forward to continue fostering these events where we can serve our community and impact the next generation of scientists and engineers.
I’m from Puerto Rico. My interests are many, but when it comes to LOGRAS, I’m doing everything I can to have a big strong familia in which we have fun and we take care of one another, always.

As a Latina, bringing together the Latino/Hispanic graduate student community at Georgia Tech is very important to me. LOGRAS became a part of my Familia away from home and I look forward to continuously giving back through mentorship and community outreach.
